Insights & Dayo, your coach

Meet Dayo β€” the AI coach who reads your real data and writes you a plain-language story of how the week went, with a bookmark to flag anything for your doctor.

DayByDay is a personal wellness tracking app, not a medical device. The information and data shown are for personal tracking and informational purposes only β€” not for diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making. Always consult your healthcare provider before making changes to your health regimen.

Numbers on their own can be hard to read β€” is a flat week good or bad? Did anything actually change? The Insights tab answers that for you. This is where Dayo lives.

Dayo is your AI coach (powered by Anthropic Claude). Dayo doesn't lecture and doesn't make things up β€” it reads your real data and writes you a short, warm, plain-language note about what's happening and what to nudge next. Every claim is grounded in a real fact from your own logs. A companion, not a doctor.

The Insights tab showing Dayo's daily read and the 'Your Story Β· This Week's Read' cards for Body, Pace, and Fuel
β€œYour body is reshaping β€” lean mass up, fat down.” Dayo's daily read, with the weekly story below.

Your daily read

At the top is Dayo's daily read β€” a quick interpretation of where you are right now, with Body, Pace, and Fuel pills you can tap to switch the lens. It might say something like β€œYour sleep's solid and you're burning fat while building muscle β€” that's the goal.” It's the same friendly voice you see on the Today tab, just with more room to explain itself.

Your Story Β· This Week's Read

Below the daily read is Your Story β€” Dayo's weekly interpretation, broken into a few focused cards:

  • ✦Body & Composition β€” your body fat, weight, and the bigger picture. For example: β€œYou've gained muscle while losing fat. That's the kind of loss that holds.”
  • ✦Weight-Loss Pace β€” how fast the scale is actually moving, against a healthy 1–2 lbs/week target, with a plain read on whether that pace is sustainable.
  • ✦Fuel β€” how your eating and hydration are supporting (or working against) the rest. On a GLP-1, this is where Dayo flags things like light hydration that can make nausea worse.

A plateau is not a failure

When the scale holds still, Dayo says so kindly β€” β€œHolding steady βš οΈβ€ β€” and looks past the number to what else is happening. Muscle gained, fat lost, inches off your waist: those count even when the scale doesn't move. Some weeks the scale lies; the trend tells the truth.

The bookmark: flag it for your appointment πŸ”–

Here's the part people love. As you read your story, you'll spot something you want to raise with your doctor β€” a plateau, a shift in body composition, a side-effect pattern. Tap the πŸ”– bookmark on that insight card to flag it for your next appointment.

Anything you flag flows automatically into your Health Report PDF β€” alongside your medication summary and any symptoms you've logged. You notice it once; the app remembers it for you. No copying, no re-typing, nothing forgotten in the waiting room.

Heading to an appointment?

Tap the πŸ”– bookmark on any insight to flag it, and it lands automatically in your Health Report PDF β€” your weight trend, GLP-1 doses, and flagged notes, ready to share. See Reports & your doctor.

Where does Dayo get its information?✦

Only from what you log and sync β€” your weight, sleep, doses, activity, body composition, and (on Plus) nutrition. Dayo never invents a number; every insight points back to a real fact in your own data.

How often does my story update?✦

The daily read refreshes each morning, and the weekly Story settles into a stable read you can revisit through the week. The more consistently you log, the sharper and more personal it gets.
