Your account

Signing in, changing your email or password, editing your profile, exporting your data, and deleting your account β€” all in plain language.

Your account is yours β€” your data, your control. Everything in this article lives under the You tab, in the Account section near the bottom. Here's how to handle the day-to-day stuff, and how to walk away cleanly if you ever decide to.

Signing in

You can sign in to DayByDay three ways: with an email and password, with Continue with Google, or with Continue with Apple. Whichever you choose, your data is stored in the cloud and synced to every device you sign in on β€” the iPhone app and the web app at web.mydaybyday.app show the same account.

Signed in with Google or Apple?

Then you don't have a separate DayByDay password β€” Google or Apple handles your login. To change it, update your Google Account or Apple ID password in their settings, not here.

Changing your email

  1. 1Open You β†’ Account β†’ Email.
  2. 2Enter your new email address and save.
  3. 3Check that new inbox for a confirmation email from DayByDay.
  4. 4Tap the link to confirm β€” your email only changes once you do.

Don't see the email?

Check your spam folder. The confirmation link expires after 24 hours; if it lapses, just start the change again.

Changing your password

  1. 1Open You β†’ Account β†’ Change Password.
  2. 2Enter your current password, then your new one twice.
  3. 3Save.

Forgot your current password? Use Forgot password on the login screen instead β€” we'll email you a reset link.

Editing your profile

Your name, height, sex, starting and goal weight, and phase all live on the Profile card in You. These shape your progress bar, projections, and body-composition numbers, so it's worth keeping them current β€” and you can change any of them anytime with no penalty. For the full rundown, see Settings reference.

Exporting your data

Your data is portable, always. From You β†’ Reports & Export you can download a doctor-ready PDF or a CSV of any table β€” weight, GLP-1 doses, sleep, measurements, labs, exercise, nutrition, and more. It's a great idea to grab a copy before any big change to your account. Full details are in Reports & your doctor.

Deleting your account

Deletion is permanent

Deleting your account permanently removes everything β€” weights, sleep, GLP-1 doses, measurements, labs, mood, and your profile. It can't be undone. If you'd like to keep a copy, export your data first (You β†’ Reports & Export).

  1. 1Export your data first if you want to keep it (You β†’ Reports & Export).
  2. 2Open You β†’ Account and scroll to the bottom.
  3. 3Tap Delete Account.
  4. 4Read the confirmation carefully, type DELETE to confirm, and tap the red button.

Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account doesn't automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it separately so you're not billed again β€” see Plans & billing for how.

Run into trouble? Email support@mydaybyday.app and we'll take care of the deletion for you. Your data is encrypted, never sold, and never used for ads β€” see Privacy & legal for the full promise.
